Yuri is a multi-instrumentalist music producer, composer, recording and mix engineer. Yuri has worked as co-writer, producer, recording and/or mix engineer with such artists/producers as Mary J. Blige, Lil Wayne, Wyclef Jean, Kara Dioguardi, DJ Green Lantern, Patti Labelle, Marsha Ambrosious, Tatiana Owens, Chucky Thompson, Natalie Cole, Fat Joe, Joell Ortiz, Saigon, Rich Harrison, George Benson, Miriam Makeba, Billy Gilman, Angie Stone, Bounty Killer, Midnite Band, Raheem Devaughn, Amerie, Me’lisa Morgan, Aaron Hall, Candice Love, and Rob Fusari. His music has been featured in many television shows, including Ray Donovan, Shameless (Showtime), Black Ink Crew, Love & Hip Hop (VH1), Major League Baseball, NBA, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit (Kate Upton) and the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Yuri works out of his private recording studio in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC, steps from the Bedford Avenue L train station. He combines his live playing on guitar, bass, and keyboard with technology to create a sound that blends melodic musical elements with new software sounds and effects. Having also put in years as a tracking and mix engineer for record company projects, he brings the skills necessary to capture inspired vocal performances and quality recordings, and has a passion for and dedication to achieving great mixes.
Currently, Yuri is co-writing/producing/working with Tatiana Owens (MTV “O Music Award Nominee"), Riggs (A&R Atlantic Records), Jeff Franzel (Universal Music Publishing) and Oli (Former Wilhelmina Model) as well as writing and producing music for television, film and the internet.
