Marlon McGregor P.K.A Arizona Slim was born in Kingston, Jamaica. At the age of 6, his family uprooted from Jamaica and relocated to the North Bronx, NY. Being from a Jamaican upbringing and growing up around cousins and uncles who were involved in the Reggae/Soul sound in the earlier years. Slim had a natural ear for music. On his spare time between basketball, Slim would camp out in his room tapping away at his beat machine experimenting with different sounds.

At the age of 18, Slim had a horrible basketball accident breaking his arm during a basketball game. In a full arm cast and unable to play basketball, Slim turned to producing music fulltime. When he got his first cash payment from a local artist Slim put down the basketball for good and focused all his time on the craft of producing music.

Word got around the neighborhood and to Darren "Dee" Dean, a Bronx native, that Slim was producing and making some very interesting beats. "Dee" at the time was making a lot of noise in the streets of NY with his own music and record label, Ruff Ryders. Slim went on to produce beats for Dee and for hit record producer Andre Betts (Madonna, Michael Jackson).

Currently Slim splits his time between South Beach, Miami and New York City. Where he has worked with Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Ashanti, Patra, and the international rock band P.O.D.

Mighty Kong Productions Slim¹s production company has recently signed its first artist, Hennessi - a rapper from the city of Opa-Locka, Fl. One of the tracks they recorded ³Down for You² featuring Pleasure P (Pretty Rick) and Shonie (Trina, Rick Ross) has been receiving a strong buzz. The single already spinning in Miami is quickly moving through the South via clubs and mixshow dj¹s.
